QED – BES Energy Conference

Bhutan Ecological Society is partnering with QED to host a 3-day international conference on socioeconomic and environmental issues of hydropower and renewable energy development inThimphu, Bhutan. The conference, aptly titled E3 (Energy-Economy-Environment) will bring together Bhutanese and international participants for in-depth discourse on Bhutan’s energy future, with resultant policy recommendations. More than 20 regional and international panelists have been confirmed for this event, which will feature an equally strong roster of local experts. Approximately 300 invited guests are expected to actively participate as audience members in facilitated question-answer sessions.
