Hon'ble Home Minister Lyonpo Tshering, in his capacity as Chair of the Civil Society Organizations Authority, visited the Bhutan Ecological Society on 9 July 2026 with officials from the Authority.
During the visit, BES presented its mandate, priorities, and current programs in ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, renewable energy, and community-based conservation.
The Minister commended the Society's work and national reach, recognizing how its efforts align with His Majesty's vision for Bhutan. BES expressed its appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration in service of people and nature.
