The Bhutan Ecological Society convened its eighth Board Meeting and Board Retreat on 27–28 July at Gangtey Palace in Paro. Board members and the Secretariat came together for two days of strategic discussion, reflection, and planning.
An informal fireside conversation opened the retreat, giving Board members and staff space to strengthen collaboration before the formal meeting. BES President Dasho Benji then opened the meeting, followed by a welcome from the Executive Director.
The Secretariat reviewed achievements and progress from 2025 and presented updates on the 2026 work plan. The Board considered programs, finances, revenue forecasts, partnerships, long-term sustainability, and agenda items requiring approval.
The meeting concluded with strategic guidance and endorsements for the Society's work ahead. BES thanks its Board members for their leadership and continued commitment to the organization.
