Education, research, outreach, and advocacy connect every BES program. Work is developed in consultation with field teams and partners so that learning reflects practical conservation needs.

  • Review and document projects and their lessons.
  • Organize trainings, seminars, and symposia.
  • Publish an internationally peer-reviewed journal.
  • Strengthen public environmental education and outreach.
  • Support the JSW-OESA environmental stewardship award.
  • Produce annual reports, newsletters, and knowledge materials.
