6th BLISS Lecture Series Hosted in Paro

On July 21, 2022, the Bhutan Ecological Society (BES) presented the 6th Bhutan Lectures on Innovation, Science, and Society (BLISS) Talks. BLISS is a BES effort that aims to close the information gap in the nation, bring innovative concepts to light, and consequently increase public awareness and knowledge.

The event’s theme was “Driving Digital: Business Transformation with Technology,” and the motivational speakers who participated in it included:

1. Mr. Kinley Wangchuk, a.k.a. “Ganchu,” founder of “Azha Pasa” and “Sibjam,” spoke about advertising in the online world.

2. A freelancer by the name of “home based illustrator,” Mr. Ugyen Dorji, discussed the craft of producing stories using technology.

3. The founder of Bhutan Food, Mr. Ngawang Gyeltshen, presented his knowledge and perspectives on cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem.
