Leading national dialogue in upscaling SEPLs conservation approach
This project aims to assess the community-based landscape management and participatory governance model that was adopted to restore and sustain the resilience of ecosystems, supported by the Global Environment Facility – Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP) under UNDP, in partnership with the Royal Government of Bhutan and the Community Development and Knowledge Management for the Satoyama Initiative (COMDEKS. We are conducting national policy dialogue(s) regarding the sustainable financing and mainstreaming of socio-ecological production landscapes and seascapes (SEPLs) conservation approach that was implemented in two landscapes – Gamrichu Watershed in Trashigang and Lower Manas Basin area in Zhemgang.
