A group of 14 student study abroad Program Advisers from the different university across the United States of America (USA) visited Bhutan on 14th May 2019. The foremost reason for the visit is to assess the learning environment of the students who undergo the interdisciplinary field-based course at The SFS Center for Himalayan Environment & Development Studies, Paro. The group visited different places of Paro, Punakha and Thimphu to gain hands-on field experience that students during study-abroad program acquire.

During their stay at Paro, they also attended a talk by Dr. Tshering Tempa (Tiger Biologist) from the Global Tiger Center, on the state of tiger conservation in Bhutan.

The team left the country on 20th May 2019.
